God, I love the Writer’s Almanac.
I’m not a superstitious person by any means, and I usually completely ignore horoscopes. But if I was a superstitious, horoscope-reading person, I might consider this a sign.

This is the kind of thing people are always telling me you should “never ever do”, no matter how great I think the initial idea is. And maybe you shouldn’t. But apparently nobody told Lana not to, and now I’m jealous of her.

I’ve been watching this book grace shelves for months now, seen the trailers for both the Swedish & David Fincher films, and finally gave in and started reading it. I usually avoid the bestseller section by default, but this one is promising thus far.
Also, I have a long-standing promise to myself to always read the book before I see the movie, and I kind of want to see Fincher’s film.
